Melanie Finn

Born in Kenya, Melanie worked as a freelance journalist in Africa, Asia and the United States, before retuning to Kenya in 2000. Her first novel, Away From You, set in post-colonial Kenya in the 1960s and the present day, was published in 2004 and was long-listed for the prestigious Orange Award for Fiction and the Impact Award.
